an 05 BASE 350z will NOT have a 300 hp rev up. an 06 BASE (i believe..) does. So, if your information on your year and trim is correct, you do NOT have a rev-up motor.

So which Z's have the 300 HP engines? I am looking to get a Track model from someone on this site does the Track have it? I drove an 04 yesterday at a dealer and they didnt know what model it was. I really didnt either but I was driving it just to see if I liked the Z or not and the cool thing is that you could adjust the fuel cut of it. I thought that was pretty cool is that what you are talking about when you say "rev-up motor"

Actually, what you are setting is just the flashing light to assist you in deciding when to shift. The rev-limiter is always at the redline.

The "rev-up" motor is just the name given to the 300HP one.
