Anyone else close?
that's pretty awesome. If it's a manual Z, how's that tranny holding up? Any grinds?

That's impressive mileage. You must be the only owner from new.

Drove it off the showroom floor. Once the engine hit operating temps, I could smell the coating burn off the engine. Thought I was riding the clutch.

Default Tranny

No tranny issues, up to this point. However, I've been dealing with what sounds like the throw out bearing problem. I've replaced it twice, the first time with the JWT clutch kit. Anyone with similar noise?

My manual 2003 base model hit 100,000 2 days go. My heart skipped a beat. Zero grinds though so that's a plus.

Now, that's cool! Have you been lurking since 2004, with intent to buy, or have one before?

I"ve never owned one. Just a Z31, and then a bunch of 240SXs, like, seven or so.

Never could afford a Z33, and I'd wanted a Brickyard since first seeing one in person.

Well, fast forward a few years and an engineering degree and career later....

I finally have one.

I've just lurked and searched a lot on this board.

had mine since it had 5 miles on the odo... now has 140k! Original clutch, and zero leaks on any seals... have had no work done on it, just maintenance. 3rd gear synchros are finally crunching... it's currently a track car so a new 06 gearbox is going in soon...

Right at 63K. Around 36K when I bought it in 09. A decent chunk was driving from NC to Colorado. But now, she gets to sit in my garage and I only drive her when I want. Bus pass and great bus system FTW
