A few weeks ago I traded in my 2003, red, 6-speed, touring away with 52k miles. Sad day...took home a 2005, triple black, 6-speed, touring roadster with 45k miles for VERY little in cash plus trade. Happy day!
86k miles, Got her in 05 with 28k miles.
Just drove down to Cali this weekend from Vegas with 114 temp and the z made it there and back great. I must of saw at least 20 cars pulled over with over heating issues.
So far I had to fix the following:
Replaced rear hatch struts, almost knocked me out one day.
Fix subwoofer for Bose, use the DIY on here.
Fix window motor for passenger door, use DIY on here and still going strong.
That’s it, everything else has been working perfectly. I recently had the urge to get the new jeep grand Cherokee. Going to try and resist selling the z.
Pushing 210k. She's starting to use a bit of oil, but I've never seen any smoke. I suspect that I have between 50k and 75k before the motor needs a rebuild.
Bout to hit 120k, may be needing a new master clutch cylinder soon...pedal getting spongy =\ Can't tell if it's that or slave cylinder.
Just do both. Trust me. I thought i could get away with just the slave on my E28 BMW. And i DID! ...for two weeks. Theni had to get more fluid and go through the whole bleeding process again. What a PITA. just do both.
Im on the wrong side of 86k. bought it three years ago with 42

You can't grumble at that. That's a lot of driving!
