I am going to purcahse my Z this week and have the colors narrowed down to 3.

1st. SILVERSTONE
2nd. PEARL WHITE
3rd. SILVER ALLOY

I think the Pearl White is beautiful when it is clean and really stands out and I like the silver because it wont show the dirt as much. Which colors do you guys have and what helped you decide?

Is there other pluses to certain colors? Is one color harder to match with wheels then another? The only thing I will do in the near future is add wheels (19").

I have the silverstone and love it. It looks great clean and hardly shows when its dirty. You really can't lose with the Z, looks great in all colors. Silverstone is the most popular.

 

i have a silverstone as well and its great. You can only tell its dirty if its not shiney. Go with Silverstone if you dont want to stand out in a crowd though (which is sorta my style, i dont like to attract too much attention to myself)

i really like the white though also, that was my second choice

I would say silver alloy is the most popular color in my area

 

I have a PPW Z. The only problem I see with this color is that there is an abundance of Z's with it here in Baton Rouge. I like the Z in the blue or black colors, they are gorgeous. Just my 2 cents.

 

I really like the Silverstone... still looks clean after 2 months of not washing the car... is pearl white a option for the Z... I thought it was only PPW?... But pearl white is a nice color for it... Silver alloy is a little too bright of a silver for me personally... But yeah silverstone would be my personal choice...

~ I have the Daytona blue... Its a nice color... it gets really dirty really quick... but it stands out in a crowd... I guess thats a good thing and a bad thing depending on how you see it... I normally get good comments on my car everyday... But somebody already said you really can't lose with any color with the Z

 

Honestly the PPW looks amazing to me when its clean....and it really stands out....not sure if that is a good thing....might attract the wrong kind of attention....But would look great with dark tinited windows and some 19's....

The silverstone seems to be the best choice because it doesnt stand out as much and wont get as dirty....What color wheels do you put on a silverston? silver?? gun metal?? It seems like I see more silver(stone and alloy) here in Houston then any other color.....

I really like the white but I am having a hard time deciding between the 2......For some reason I think silverstone makes more sense.....HELP!!

i really wanted a ppw but there were no more so i ended up with a ss dun have to wash it everyday =)

 

PPW isn't bad for dirt, actually.

 

dirt doesnt stand out on PPW. siliverstone is blah, very blah imho. majority of the Z's are silverstone so if you wanna blend in then go with it. go with the color you like best.

 

pfffftttt not PPW - GET GUN METAL GREY PUTER.... Its the best u can get... goes well with ferraris and lambos... especially m3's!!!!

Ok, So I have narrowed it down to PPW and SS......
I like the Volk wheels....

Does silver look good on the PPW?
Gunmetal on the SS? How would silver look on the SS?

I am not that flashy so dont want anything that stand sout too much.....something simple and classy would be great!

 

PPW is very classy...My buddy has one...your color scheme could be black and white like his...axis milanos that are black with a silver lip. Go with that one man. Me, I got red bc i like my car to stand out.

 

another advantage to PPW, it goes well with just about every color wheel. chrome, polished, silver, black, gunmetal, bronze, gold. they all work well, just depends on what you like.

Where is the best place to look for wheels?
I want to see the wheels on the car....
It seems like 19" is the way to go (size wise)?
I am looking for something simple, no crazy colors or designs....
I like some of the VOLK RACING wheels....

Has anyone seen the Enkei RP03's in silver? I am not sure if Enkei is a good brand but those actually looked pretty sweet on the Z.
What size do you get?? 19x8.5? , 19x9?, 19x9.5?

The Z is truly the one car I've seen that looks GREAT in any color. I had a very difficult time originally choosing a color, as I was torn between the Pikes Peak White, Daytona Blue, and Lemans Sunset. I see pics of Super Blacks, Brickyard Reds (which is what I originally wanted), Redlines, and even Ultra Yellows, and could see myself driving that color as well.

I guess it really comes down to color preference. I chose the PPW (sight unseen no less) and absolutely love it. Clean its gorgeous, and for the most part, it hides dirt pretty well.

LOL @ all the poser talking down about a color because of its popularity. Oh!!!! That color is tooooo cool because everyone has it so I must get something else!!!! Damn... the Z is soooo popular.... I guess that means I can't have one!!!

Personally, I didn't factor in other people when I bought my Z, nor did I factor in other people when I chose a color. I didn't ask anyone what they thought, nor did I care. I got what suited me best, and needless to say I'm still 100% happy with what I got.

I personally think the Z looks good in all the factory colors. Although, we are not the ones who have to live with the choice you make. Get the color that you like best and be done with it.
