TOTAL $ spent on mods
$15k for interior, tires, rims, stereo, custom paint
$36k for fully built long block, racing auto tranny, Greddy TT, etc, etc, etc (in progress right now)
$5k for previous bolt-ons (going to try to sell as many as possible)
$900 for an extra set of track tires
Give or take...$56,900.
And for those who say it would be better spent elsewhere, who says that other things have to be given up to spend money on your car. The way I see it, if you have to give up something important to spend a lot of money on your car, then you probably shouldn't be spending the money on your car. Wait until the money isn't needed for anything else and won't be used. Mine was earning about 5% for me. The experiences with my car are worth way more than that.

In hindsight I think I would have rather purchased a 911 GT3 with all the money I have put into my Z. I'm probably just saying that now becuase I haven't driven my Z since July of 2006 and I'm still throwing tons of money at it.

Dang dude....March 12th, 2007 was my last day of seat time!
But u know what bro....too late to turn back now...so we might as well accept it and enjoy it....that and I need other people who dropped TOO much $ around so I feel better about myself

Oh, and I guess you could count the cost for the car I bought to drive around while my Z is in the shop for the next month. I didn't want to do a rental, so I picked up a used Altima. I'll probably keep it though. It's a good car and will keep th mileage low on my Z.

No.. You cant count that bro.. Its not a Z mod..
And YES Noah.. I agree, i need to feel better about it too!!
Easy killer...I was kidding. The Altima is a great car and it keeps me from putting another 20,000 miles on my car this year. I only bought it because the Z is down for a few months, but I'm glad I have it. Rentals are a pain and my wife is not reliable enough to share her Armada with. I'd end up stranded or asking my employees for a ride every day.
Anyway, of course I don't count the Altima as an actual mod, which is why I didn't even say what it costs. The point was that people might consider the cost of another vehicle if they decide to mod their cars as heavily as some of us have. My car will be suitable for daily driving, but I don't want to put that many miles on it, so we'll see.
