i know that reflash is retuning your stock ecu to your current mods so ur performs at its best with those mods
i'm guessing piggyback is an addition to your stock ecu, while stand-alone is a whole new ecu..

i assume thats the technosquare reflash. they work for '06s? crap, if they add that much power, i might go ahead and get it. how much does it cost? and can i just reset the flashed ecu each time i add another mod?
no.. you should add all your mods first then add the reflash..

A reflash is getting your ECU reflashed or reprogramed. I will be sending mine to techno square soon when I get my TT kit put in. I hear they do A great job Here is the website. www.technosquareinc.com send them your ECU with a list of mods you have done and they will do wonders in your ECU I think this is way better then A stand alone or getting a piggy-back. I hear the price is about $3-400 for the reflash.

i thought i mentioned it already but i guess it was on a different thread. this was my first dyno ever and i wish i did a baseline beforehand.

Well the '06 engine is suppose to have 300 to the crank minus the 18% loss that would be at 246 whp, the pop charger claims only 6 whp and well that would still leave 20+ WHP awarded to the re-flash, that's amazing. Most usuable feature on the reflash is the remapping of the fuel maps since the Z is known to run very rich on the topend. Well i guess i have to go and dyno mine (completely stock) and see.

I strongly recommend that you dyno while you're completely stock. if you plan on going the same route I am dying to know what someone else got. This was my only dyno (3 pulls) and recently I've been told by a lot of people that Church's (the place where I dynoed mine) has usually very high dyno numbers. Not to mention this was done on a dynapack, which already has high numbers to begin with. Anyways, that's what I got but keep me posted on your results.
I dynoed mine (2005 Touring Roadster, 6 spd, 6k at the time, 93 octane, K&N Air filter) ... bone stock 239 hp at the wheels ... dyno was done on a Mustang dyno ... room temp about 75 degrees F. With a piggyback Unichip only gave me 243 hp at the wheels ... needless to say Unichip does not work well as a stand alone.
I've had my caro dyno'd at Church and BSP just so I could have both as ref. They both were consistant of each other. Meaning BSP's predictive flywheel HP was darn close to the flywheel HP I put down at Church.

And Dynopacks dyno w/o wheels, so there is no rotational mass to rob hp.
