ok i cant get the specs for the 06 track any where... im talking 1/4 mile times skid pad thats about it. they have much larger tires now 240/40/18 front...and 265/35/19 rear. i was wondering how this affected the preformance? maybe i just suck at searching?

Magazines test various 350Z models, but I dont recall any recent Track results. For quarter mile ET, you might see a 0.50 second difference between various models. Of course 0.50 seconds is not nearly as important as your driving skills (or lack of).

I dont think any mags have tested a 06 track model. Compared to earlier tests though, i would think it may be a bit slower, considering heavier wheels/tires and about 150lbs more weight over previous track models.

Man regardless of 20mm wider rear tires they run the same as the non revup down the 1/4. And handling would prolly be a wash compared to 03' Z's, new Z's have softer suspensions but wider tires...its all the same. High 13's with a good driver and around .88-.90 on the skidpad. Dont live by the numbers man go drive one.

It's 245/40R18 front to be exact.

the numbers wornt realy for me, more for a freind. i have driven one and thought it to be very simulair to previous models. he keeps telling me that an 03 evo can do a .... 13.1 1/4 and a 4.4 0-60... i told him that i have driven two evo's both 03's and did not find them to be that fast...they were fast but not a 13.1. i keep trying tell him that that only way in hell an evo could ever do that stock is if they got a top driver and gave him 20 cars to distroy. then he might be able to make one 13.1 in prime conditions.

but realy i dont think anything i say will convince him that they are not close to a 12 second car stock, even thought i have even raced a few, and won.

i guess i was just hopeing that there was some crazy number i could throw back at this magazine racer cause it was motor trend that put out this number and he takes is as gospel.

hes gone evo nuts now i just tell him "buy the dam car and ill race ya"
