Default Need info on guesstimate of 1/4 mile time...

I have a question that I am sure those of you deep into the heart of the 350 could help me with... As a first time drag racer, with street tires, what kind of times should be expected from a Z with the following mods?

2004 Z, Automatic Trans, DC Sport Headers, APS test pipes, JIC Y-pipe and JIC Titanium catback, Kinetix Upper Plenum, Injen RD CAI, Tein S-Tech springs

Thanks to anyone that is willing to offer helpful information. And please post realistic (proven more than once with nearly same mods) numbers keeping in mind automatic transmission

THANKS GUYS AND GALS!

Welcome to the forum.

Don't expect anything. The first time is to learn about staging, racing etiquette, safety and your car. Don't expect anything and you wont be disappointed.

14.5 to high 13's depending on you and the track. I have a 5AT and I change gears, but i don't miss shifts. there are a number of things you can do wrong with the auto however. As davidv says, take it out and practice and then practice some more.

You will need to remove the stop light fuse if you power brake. it tells the ECU to cut you power if it is left in. I believe it is for some safety reasons.

13.6-14.5 @ 97-103 mph depending on launch, weight, track conditions, shift points...just too many variable for us to give you an honest estimate.
