every time i watch it, it puts me in a good mood... I like the vid from nissans site because it does the horn bit at the end lol

Nah, it's ok. He just has an opinion about the commercial.

I remember when it first came out, a lot of people didn't like it.

I love the commercial.......the song it's ok, but everytime i watch it, it makes me a proud Z owner

 

One of the drivers IS Rhys Millen, (famous GTO-drifter and rally car driver, son of Rod Millen?).

I hate the song, but the commercial is so well shot and it contrasts so much with the imagery, I can't really complain.

Some one already said so, but it was a real song on a children's record (you know vinyl), that my folks bought when I was a kid back in (well we'll just say a long time ago). Great commercial!!!!

 

Annoyed me at first, but it grew on me. Now whenever I see it, I watch it and smile.

 

it is one of the best car commercials ever IMO.

it'd be perfect if they took away the background music and just let the exhaust sing....that would be absolutely perfect

 

There was some versions a guy did on the other site... you know and it had a Guns N Roses song dub in ... now that was a good commerical. Same exhaust note just better music...... can't think of the song title.

Man that would make an awesome statement. No music....straight up Z's exhaust note.

Then "Shift_joy" or whatever the hell slogan Nissan likes to use with the Z.

I thought it was weird the first time I saw it, but now it gives me a goofy grin every time I see it.

 

Song is werd, guess it is supposed to be that way. Should show a Passat being knocked off the road because of thier lame as s commerical.

That's fine, I guess we'll agree to disagree. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with how they made the commercial (the cinematography, sound, overall setup is well done) but I just wish they had chosen a different song. Every time I hear it, I can't help but hear fingernails on a chalkboard.
