Default Anyone ever use the Red Valet key?

Does anyone use the red valet key for valet? My old girlfried had a 300zx and I think we used that key as the spare. Seems kind of like a hassle to carry two keys around but sometimes I'm torn when I have something locked in the, easily accessable, glove box and I only have the regular key.

Default spare key

I had a flat, spare key made at Lowe's this past Saturday. That way if I accidently lock my keys in the car some crazy way, at least I can get back into the car. Plus, I can carry the flat key in my wallet with no prob. (Of course, you couldn't start the car with it; I would have to use the original key.)

Sure.

With the double tooth design of the key its great for scratching between the toes

hehe, JK. But it is pretty cool that nissan color match the key to the red coat monkey that manage to scratch your car trying to park it .

It's easy to lock yourself out of the car.... it locks itself automatically.... even with the key in the ignition.

It does? Mine doesn't do that? I better take it back up to the dealership and get the lock out option added

If you leave the car unlocked, will it lock automatically after some period of time?

I leave mine unlocked in the garage every night (please come rob me) and in the morning the doors are still unlocked? Not sure about how you would get locked out?

I really, really, really wish the Valet key would limit RPM's to 3,500 and speed to 45mph.
