Just trying to get a good list of cons (already have a huge list of pros) on buying a 350z. ill start of with an example, well i have an rsx-s right now and i regret not having any low-end torque and occasional grinds going from 1-2.

If I had more money I would have gotten the GTR. Besides not having enough money, I have no regret at all in buying the Z.

My regret is that I can't travel as much since most of the money goes into the monthly payments. Plus I own a house and two cars.

Well, the Elise was available for sale here right after I bought it. There are times I'd like to have a black one instead of white, but other than that, nothing.

I regret all the constant attention that I get now. The incessant "Nice car", or the never ending thumbs up complete strangers give me. I especially hate having random women who would have never checked me out wave at me when I'm in this car (I'm married, I actually do hate it because it gets me in trouble).

I also hate that now I check the 350Z forums almost every day.

to davidv and 2005daytonaZ. you guys are just in such a clamor to yell at newbs "why didn't you search?" that you overlooked a CRUCIAL point. That thread a month ago about regrets was for MODS THAT PEOPLE HAVE DONE TO THEIR Z... i wonder where i stated that i wanted to know regrets on mods.. i wanted to know regrets on buying the Z and maybe not another car. so get your facts straight before you be a jerk and say search.

 

only regret: not enough reason to drive it more.
