Default Z vs WRX = Transmission problems

So last night I'm driving minding my own business and a blue WRX drives next to me and down shifted on me so I responded by downshifting to 2nd. I left him behind by like 3 cars. So we hit a red light. We took off and I had him by like 3 car lenghts when I hit 3rd, all of a sudden that thing just passed me and kept going. My car is stock exept for some kind of Skunk 2 intake that the car came with. Anyhow this morning as I am accelerating on 1st the car was reving but would not go. It felt like if I had the car in neutral. 10 minutes later I accelerated again on 1st gear and the transmission made a whinning noise. I just had this transmission replaced like a month ago. Any ideas what this mite be?
To the guy with the blue WRX nice car man.

The clutch is brand new. Now the clutch sticks in half way and it smells like burnt clutch.

Shehey Nissan in Manassas VA. Theu changed the Transmission, clutch, flywheel, and throw out bearings in a few hours. Also the clutch pedal does not have a lot of pressure to it.

Take it back to them, and have them check it out. It should not be functioning the way you are describing it.

Z'S are famous for sticking clutchs and pressure. you can replace the clutch line with a heavy duty one and def let the dealership check it out but they might just blow you off. nissan doesnt like to warranty stuff.

Where do you stay at. I live in Chantilly, I take my car to Rosenthal Tysons Nissan Mazda. FYI, stay away from Browns Fairfax Honda, they suck real hard. Rosenthal Tysons is very friendly and professonal.

I'd try a couple hard launches to see if it repeats its self, then take it to the dealership if it does. Definately not normal.
