Default DAS Autoshipper Evaluation

Up till now, the service has been so-so. Their call center is great, answeered all my questions and concerns.

I had a little problem when I was shipping my car. The guy that checked my car was telling me that I had scratches everywhere. I asked him to show me and he showed me spots where they are tiny marks of road grime. Then when he evaluated my wheels, he said there were scratches on them all around. I know I don't have any so I asked him, "where" and he pointed at my wheels and said, "there there and there..." WTH... I feel like they are buying themselves insurance by saying there are scratches on my car...

Anyhow, at the end, he refused to make changes on the evaluation sheet so I had to sign it.

I took a lot of pictures and hopefully they'll be useful if anything every happens to my car. I'll post pictures of the car at the destinaion so some of you guys can have a general idea of how shipping a car is like.

Their tracking system online is awesome.

I'm having my Viper shipped closed transport from Florida. I'll let you know what company gets used, but you can always check out Almond Exotic Transports if you want your car handled with kid gloves.

I got my car back. It's in the exact condition it when it left Boston. I am so glad. I can finally sleep well tonight.

I will post the pictures of later. Hanging out in Napa right now. The weather is amazing in California. AMAZING. Is Boston still flooding from all that rain?

That' pretty shady, I'm assuming 'the guy' is also the driver, of the transport that checked your car, is just trying to buy his way out if anything happens to your car. That's all sorts of red flags if I was in that situation.

Glad your car got back to you in the shape you left it and you took many pictures before it left.

btw, was it a covered/enclosed transport?

Thumbs up

Glad to hear they got it to you in the same condition. I too used DAS for my car and had no problems.
