Default Love Bugs!!!

It's that season again here in sunny Florida. Damn, they stand out on white . Anyway, i can handle the day to day variety, but i have a trip to Tallahassee planned this weekend (from Tampa) and can't imagine the carnage. Any tips on what to do to the bumper/windshield/mirror areas. I plan on a nice coat of wax or two, anything else as far as preventative measures? And no, i don't have the resources ($) for a clear bra at the moment.

Man, love bugs SUCK! Haven't seen too many around TX yet, but usually don't drive out of the city, which is where they get me bad.

Yes, the clear bra would certainly be very helpful, but if the funds are low you should invest in a decent alternative for front-end protection. If you have no choice but to endure the dreaded love bug invested journey, then get yourself a regular bra. They’re relatively inexpensive and they definitely do the job. It goes on and comes off with ease. People say that they're ugly, but you'll be the one with the exceptional protection, while they'll be wiping the acid laden bugs from their bumpers and windshields. You can even get the protection for your mirrors, too. I’d rather have that crap splattered on the bra than my paint job. You'll be glad that you gave yourself the edge.
