Z vs Z
It will be a drivers race if you go against the Track version. The LSD makes a difference if you both know how to drive. I've put a half a car length or more on other Z's.
For about $800 you can get a better LSD then any other model Z. I also drive a base but went for the cusco LSD and hotchkis TVS. The brembos make little to no difference at all. You would have to drive your car really hard to get to a point where you will be concerned about brake fade when your putting down less then 300whp.
Just a little warning, use the search on this site. These guys really don't help you if you ask a new question. Just search and find an old conversation that applies to you and add on.

I'm glad they left the ignore feature for non-paying members. 
I've noticed that with all the flaming trolls ignored (aka bravehearts), this site is much more tolerable. The flaming has almost disappeared. Just a few more ignores and all will be well.
All these morons thinking they're some kind of elite is a goddamn joke(just look at some of their posts when they're trying to be serious). Not only are they noobs, they're flaming noobs. The worst of the worst.
Add another one to the list.

You're right in that some of them are pretty much useless. I don't associate myself with the BHs either because some of them don't understand a good noob bashing. They don't take pride in the art and often resort to childish name-calling, not all of them, but some. Getting flamed online is a right of passage. If you can't take a joke then you have much worse problems then getting flamed. These guys do take the noob-bashing a little too far sometimes but for the special threads that cleary came from the mind of someone with a touch of down syndrome, I'll be there. Some of those people that were flammed are still here and doing quite well and have mastered things like SEARCH. I think you take this stuff just a little too seriously. Just let things flow. Everyone finds their place eventually. If you ever get into it with another BH, let me know. I'll bash on them as well if you are in the right. If I end up getting flammed, oh well, I'll live.
