If you have the AAA Plus, they have 100 miles tow benefit but that doesn't guarantee a tow back if Performance Nissan doesn't fix it.
It has helped me out in non-emergency situations where I had to tow to a shop.

dude, i'd just take off the intake, and have it towed... Tell them you did the roll cage for looks... They can't prove anything...
Towing will be 100 bucks or so...
new engine is in the thousands...
do the math...

Go ahead and replace the engine yourself if you really want too but I have no doubt you can find a dealership who would fix the engine if everything is how you described it.

If nissan covers it under warranty wouldnt they pick up the towing charges. In the first 3000 miles i noticed my check engine light flash (not stay on, it just happened a couple of times for a brief second) so i pulled over, called the dealership, and they sent a flat bed to pick up my car. Come to find out the oil sending unit went out. They fixed it under warranty and picked up the towing charges. They said if i hadnt noticed it my engine would have blew.

Is the OEM oil pan baffled? Perhaps oil starvation was caused by the hard cornerning you mentioned, your oil pump picking up air instead of oil.
Good luck with your car & the dealer.

Tell them the roll cage is just added protection. You put them in all your cars.
In any event it is worth trying.

yea man just cuz u got intake and exhaust that doesnt mean ****.. Unless they can prove that ur mods contributed to the problem.. Which i dont see how and intake and exhaust can do ****.. Also they expect us to drive our Z's hard.. We didnt buy 300hp cars to go slow.. I had nitrous and my nissan still warrantied by Transmission

Really sorry to hear this bro, I would really do some checkups first (if you can get some mechanics to take a look at the engine, and try to get a clue of what has caused the failure)
I would really try to give a few dealership some cold calls..at least to figure out...

You can get a pro-rated refund on your Extended Warrenty you purchased... Should help with the cost of rebuilding your engine... Find your paperwork on it and take it to the dealership that sold you the extended warrenty and Nissan will send you a check in the mail..
Get AAA + membership for a year, it gives you 100 miles towing, think the AAA + costs around $75 a year..

I can't see them being able to deny you. They have no proof you "abuse" your car. The intake and exhaust will not lead to engine failure and unless they can prove that *is* what caused it (See Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act) then they have to repair it.
Suspension, unless a mechanical defect, is not covered under warranty (wear and tear) and it would have no bearing on the car anyway. And a roll-cage has nothing to do with the engine.
Your letting the dealer beat you before you even give yourself a chance. You have a better change of getting it fixed because you invested the money with them for the extended-warranty IMO.
