Well kids, I just wanted to post a quick note to let you know that I am working on the new version of this website. I was trying to get it up for July 5th, then I pushed that back to July 8th but now I am having to push it back a short while as well.

This site is not my "job" obviously, although I wish it was. I have done a great deal of work into the new version of the site and I have since gone through four or five versions. I get so far and then see a flaw in my design or navigation and scrap it, start over, curse a little.

I don't have a date that the new version will launch but I am working on it daily, as much as I can without going crazy from sitting in front of my system.

I have had many offers for help and I do appreciate them. When the new site is open and running, I will be making it MUCH more interactive where the chapters of the my350z.com car club will be able to login and post things regarding their club's news etc. I will also have others running different sections somewhat, trying to make it better every day.

I know the flaws with the current site, there are many and all of these have been addressed and hopefully, solved somewhat. The new site won't be perfect, but it will be better than it is now. Easier to navigate, a great faq section detailing every darn thing regarding the car so those without the tech knowledge will not have to feel bad asking questions in here. Simply look it up in the new site and voila, you now know what others know.

The new site will also feature an extensive look into Nissan's history of the Z as well as past video, commericals, media of all types. I am really pulling out the stops for the new site, my only hold up right now is time and although it won't launch today as I earlier planned, it will launch soon. Very soon.

Sorry for the delay, like you... I too am a my350z.comaholic.

Quick update on the logo contest:

I have recieved many responses and I am going to get them up shortly for voting. I have one or two that to me are clear cut leaders but I'll let the members decide. Watch for this in the next day or two.

i do agree w/wxtornado thank you jmanz........and mrs. jmanz.......hell of a job.....keep it up........and no rush......the current site works good enough were we can get our great 350z info........thanks again....

 

Cheap... fixed. I had it set at 4 letters prior. I switched to to three just now.
