I love my Chrome Silver and I special ordered it on top of Redline, DB, LS and SB. Sure, it requires a special care to keep the reflections going, but when its waxed, the light and sky glow/show like no other.
Now, regarding Silver Aloy, that is an "easier" less-maintenance color. It will appear more brilliant than CS, but you miss the multidimensions the metalic CS flare can give you. That's why the high-end GT2s use this type of paint over "plain silver".

i love red but i just cant see myself driving a red car. when i think red car, i think about some long hot blonde headed chick driving one. im an azn d00d so i dont fit that criteria. red = chick color imho.

Hey Chris: I believe those 2 pictures are 2 different events. First one from 2004 RR/TI meet and the 2nd one from Last Year's RR/TI meet. The very first SS Z on the first pix is my old Z and the 2nd picture has yellow taping around it

Yea I Love My REDLINE! This is how it goes. Red is just a fast looking color. People who say red doesnt catch the most eyes...why does red get the most tickets? Red is the most eye catching by far. Not taking anything away from the other colors....bc any color on the Z is sexy as hell. Silver is just one of those "there" colors. Its just there, never bold enough to stand out. Red says here i am, come and get me...lol....

ferrari's are an exception, maybe a red Z06 is exempt from this too.
