I use my Z(2006) as a daily driver and I have to have coffee in the morning, spillproof cup in the center console, at one time i did ponder the question of 4 cup holders in a two seat car until my ex-wife got in with a water and a soda, needless to say, the soda never made it in the car, but I think there are people who have multiple beverages at one time in thier cars, or thier just pigs and leave empty sh&t in there and rotate it between cup holders....

Haha, maybe they're clumsy?

I always have food and drinks in my car...never had a spill or anything. You just have to corner way slower or you'll spill **** probably.

speaking for myself I worked very hard for this car and I take alot of pride in it, just don't want it to get all fuqued up is all, carpet and seats are expensive if you have to replace them because some a&&hole spills something in it, not to mention a lingering stench, i particular don't care for the smell of old beer, food whatever.....it's my car not a dinning room....

I agree that I would never put a liquid anything in the cupholder that pops out of the dash. That's just asking to spill something over the audio controls.

On the console, I'm coordinated enough to manage that. No problems so far.

OP: Don't drink or eat in your Z. Honor the interior and it will reward you by not smelling like an old refrigerator and/or not looking like the throw rug on your bathroom floor.

Used to have a T-shirt that said "never drink and drive, you might hit a bump and spill your drink", bought in St. Thomas, cute, but all jokes aside never do it, seen to many accidents. Never thought the cupholder thread would get this reaction...

Exactly what I was thinking needed to be pointed out, the car is a Z, Ford GT or exotic. Drink your coke, spill your crap, enjoy!

I think I'd be pretty bummed if I spilled a whole 20 oz coffee in the interior of my car, ANY car, even if it were only worth $12,000 bucks. It doesn't have to be a Ferrari. A sticky, smelly mess is a sticky, smelly mess.

And will I spill a drink? Yes. Not because I'm a "little kid" (even though I think I am), but because of how I drive that car. I don't have that no-spill-drive-technique that the guy from the Initial D anime has yet...

Idk about you, but id even have a drink in an exotic. A drink is not that hard to clean up even if u spill it, just need the right product. Ive spilled pure coffee mix for granitas in my mom's 4Runner and it cleaned up perfectly fine. I just think everyone is too worried. Just don't drink while u drive.

Why would you replace a whole seat if you spilled something in it? Fabric and/or leather cleaners will more than likely get it out. There's great products and technology out nowadays.

A little off topic. My friend just bought a boxster s. no cup holders what so ever. kind a weird.
