its a company in japan notorious for having some very clean setup of modifications, to the point where there were tommy kaira edition cars sold from dealerships... ie. the subaru 22b - a2.2 liter stroked wrx
"Tommykaira" (also known as "TK" or "Tommy Kaira") is a Japanese tuning company named for its two founders, Yoshikazui Tomita and Kikuo Kaira. You can think of them similar to the likes of Shelby or Rousch.
ok, thats i thought, so "tk" is to nissan as saleen or rousch is to ford, thanks
Actually, although they had a close partnership with Nissan Motor Corp., they also tuned other cars as well such as Subaru. They even developed their own cars.
wow, ok, now im really surprised id never heard of em before. so if i say wanted some of those bad *** lookin brake calipers and rotors how much would i be looking at if i found em

Not sure but I would assume their high prices is due to the fact that they are considered as one of Japan's premiere tuners & their products are mainly offered through the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM). With that said, most of your cost comes from having it imported here. This holds true for a lot of JDM parts that would be considered rare in the US.
It should fit since I've seen a Z here that had it. Don't remember his name though. As far as them being popular, I'd rather say they are considered "high-end" which is another reason why their products are so expensive. Remember, they also design their own exotic cars.
well so is wilwood here, but im sure it hard to get there and more expensive.
Very true. You'd just laugh on how much they'd pay for a Rustang to be shipped over there . In fact, I've read they hike the prices of anything made in the US, like Levi's jeans.
