wow, I just noticed this after looking at your pics more! is the frame around your radio and storage area the same color and texture as the rest of the dash and interior is? if so, how much begging would it take for you to buy one of those and ship it over to me? I will gladly pay you $$ on top of the actual cost of the frame for your time!
the radio kit here is the main thing stopping me from doing my new radio and system. I think the black metra kit looks really bad since nothing else in there matches it! and if your OEM frame is the same color and texture as the rest of the interior that would be soooooo much better! seriously, I can mail, wire, paypal, whatever you'd prefer. Please let me know! Thanks alot!!!

heh, if you ever wanna do a USDM conversion, Ill gladly swap front cornermarkers with you.... I would love to get a pair of th smoked ones if you want a pair of amber ones!
I know you probably wont, but is it possible that you could find out what the retail price on them is direct from the parts department over there? I still cannot believe that 2 pieces of molded plastic could possibly cost that much money (like 50 bucks with shipping USD????) especially since they are a standard stock part! Thanks.
BTW- looks great, probably the only car i would trade my Z in for!

Congratulations Bill! She most certainly is a beautiful car. Like many others, I'm so jealous of the little extras you have. Tilting, folding side mirrors would be great to have on US model. All the best of luck. Peace. -m

thank you
I want to thank all of you for your notes of congratulations. It is truly a Z-fraternity of good friends here.
I would also like to thank JmanZ for starting this site...that has made us the most Z-savvy group of people on the planet.
To answer a few questions...
1. rouxeny / dvlad... cruise control is not offered in Japan. The only controls on the steering are for the Nissan navigation system -- and is tied into their "Wings" assistance program. I did not order navi - so it made no difference. However, if you opt for the MOMO steering... you would loose the buttons on the stock wheel.
2. droid... shifting left-handed is not too bad -- being left handed helps. However, if I had a choice... I would rather shift with my right hand -- since that is the way I first learned. It is easier to shift 1-2 by pulling the shifter toward you with your right hand -- as opposed to pushing the stick away from you with left hand shifting.
The only confusion is when I drive in the US -- the turn signal and wiper arms are reversed ... so when I make a turn ... the windshield wipers go on instead of the turn signal.
3. KJ-350... I will check on the frame and see if it is available.
4. Omega350Z.. I will check to see if the reflectors are offered at the dealer. However - prices are high here .. and then you have to add in the shipping. Does Japanparts offer this ?
FYI... the reflectors are a very dark black-orange.
