I have read multiple threads regarding the poor quality of Nissan paint, but my Z doesn't have any paint chips on the front fascia thus far. I have had it for about 3 months, and have 2200 on the odometer. Ran it through canyons driving "spiritedly" numerous amount of times, and expected to pick up a few pock marks. It leaves me to wonder if the had improved the paint for the latest model.
Hehe.. Hawaiian roads, streets watever.. you drive by.. sucks.. my paint job isn't great.. I got a few tiny minute rock chips.. but my neighbor downstairs has an 05 but barely drives it and still has that new look.. I guess it depends on where you drive it and how the weather conditons are to wear out paint.

hawaii is a peice of rock so you will have rocks everywhere. maybe ur neighbor takes care of his car or drives like a granny
That would be a big no. Haven't done much freeway driving, have you?
Around 80% of my driving is on the highway, but since I live in Los Angeles I don't have much opportunity to take it up to normal highway speeds. I guess that's why.
