Broke my car in with its 1200th mile last night at 11:39pm

I'm going to get my oil change on Monday morning and have decided to go synthetic with Mobil 1...but for those that did this already, how many bottles should I get and which grade (is it the 5W-30)?

5W30 - 5 Quarts exactly (with an oil filter change).

If you live in a HOT region, 10w30 would be acceptable.

Interesting Note: 3/4 Qt. remains in your engine at all times.
So, if you overhaul you engine (dry engine) it would take 5 3/4
Qts.
