was heading south on the 110 and i saw an inevitable stop up a mile ahead, so i revved up a bit and then shifted to neutral and let her roll....

i have found that you get the BEST gas mileage not by coasting but by driving at approx. 65 MPH on cruise control with level terrain and about 49 degrees farenheit...

also did you JUST reset the computer or did it go up there by itself?

if you reset while on the highway, the first reading will usually be very high... mine has been as high as 68MPG... but it will quickly decline to around 28MPG...

I have had it go up once, when i was cruising home at 1 AM on the freeway, under the above conditions... MPG reading went from 22MPG up to 38 or something like that...
