Rear View Mirror Anti-Glare

Rear View Mirror Anti-Glare
Is there any way to shut this thing off - permanently - short of yanking out some wires? I find the LED light itself bothersome enough in day-time driving, but I actually dislike the anti-glare effect. Is there any setting I can do to shut it off?
Thanks in advance.

yes.. there should be a harness the powers up the dimming mirror. all you got to do is unplug it... shearch for headliner and rear view mirror removal threads.. although this may cause your rear view mirror to have the lava lamp effect in the long run.. the liquid sometimes settles on the bottom part of the mirror and does not want to fill the mirror up...

I love my anti-glare. I wish my side mirrors could also have the anti-glare because those damn SUV's headlights are annoying in the side mirrors.
And I don't even notice the green light on the rear view mirror at all.

You want to get rid of it because you can't stand the little green light thats on it? Wow your picky, use some electrical tape and cover it up
Don't ever buy an aftermarket stereo, it will drive you nuts with all its colors...

The green led is barely noticable.
I just wished the stupid thing worked better at dimming. Car comes up behind you at night and the bright lights in that mirror drive me nuts.
I finally gave up and just tilt the mirror up like the day/night type mirors and ignore it since the rear view is useless anyway.

we dont get the auto-dimming mirror in Aus, and it is an a$$ having cars behind blinding you with their headlights
so instead i bought this CF mirror with blue tinted glass. Should eliminate any glare. Same colored blue glass as my ganador mirrors and most euro cars use on external mirrors
