Help! question?
I know this might seem like e nuwb question but i want to now what im getting into.
1. i came across a 350z at a local dealership and it has an injen cold air intake, does the intake void the cars factory warranty?
2. the car has the "service engine light" on. would that have something to do with the intake?

Maybe but most likely no. I might have had other stuff done to it then just the intake. The test pipes for a Z is one mod that seems to set of the service engine light most. You should look into getting it scanned by an OBDII scanner and find out what the problem is.
The engine in a Z is specifically made for stock products. When you mess with the engine (such as intake, or headers), the ECU senses something isn't right and it turns on the CEL. Nothing is wrong with the car, you just need an ECU reflash. However, there's still ongoing debate as to whether that works or not.
