Who is more sexy Z32 or Z33?
I used to have a Z31 that had all options except for the adjustable shocks. That car was simply awesome and I wish I still had it now. But alas, it was totaled when my brother decided to run a red light
Personally, I like the Z31 style over the two latter styles, but I can't wait for a Z33 to be in the driveway

imo every Z from the 240 to the 33 are bad *** looking, i have an 86 i am restoring, i have owned every other Z except a 260, there are days when i stand back from the 86 and think about how nice the lines are....if i am driving down the road and see a 280 or 240 i definately do a double take, i think the styling is timeless and the entire Z lineage is sexy...i voted for the 33 because i think if you really spend some time looking at it from a styling standpoint Nissan incorporated little things from all the past models into it, it's just a magnificent looking car that does a great justice to the Z heritage....

Again, to the eye of people outside the car scene the Z32 looks all too similar to a 90's Camaro, while the Z is more unique and if it's lines resemble anything it's a Porche, which makes for a much better comparison.
Your post seems to focus more on effort put into design and "class", whereas the original post quite specifically asks only about "sexiness" and style. These are two different questions with potentially two different answers.
if i have to explain the engineering then you are not very familiar with the Z32 and its motor. I would suggest you visit twinturbo.net there is tons of info there. I like the Z33 i own one, but the motor in the Z32 is just a work of art!
Can you explain to me how they can sell a car 16 years later, at a price lower then the previous Z designed almost two decades ago. Reason being no expense was spared when designing and engineering the Z32. THere are tons of people running street tuned 500+ horsepower Z32 on stock internals. Not to mention quite a few 10 second full trim Z32's roaming the streets. The two cars just cannot be compared, the build quality of the Z33 is not even close to that of the Z32. I have been in the body shop business for years, and have done alot of work on both cars, and just looking at the quality of the welds on the under body of that car, to fit and finish of the interior there is no comparison. There were no comprimises on the Z32 what so ever. I have both so I can give an unbiased opinion. I will post pics of my Z32 you tell me what you think.

I also love both cars, if i had the money i would have both cars... the only reason i bought a Z33 instead is because banks are not likely to finance a 10 year old car... I would love to see a Black, Red, or Silver Z32 in my driveway but it's not feasible...
I love the lines of both cars and found it to be a very close call... the only reason i chose Z33 is because of the design that matches "today" and exactly what another has said... From a stangpoint of someone that knows nothing about Zs i assume they would think the Z33 looks better...
but each has its pros and cons... but i wouldn't change a thing about either...

I really do miss my old 300zxTT sometimes.
the Z32 is plenty in the forcedinduction power department, but for teh lose in the heat dissipation, weight, and style department when compared to the Z33 ( heavy but not quite as heavy, heats up, but doesnt heat up quite as much, sexy, yet a million times for sexy than the Z32) The 350Z actually has key design elements whereas the Z32 has a less controlled focus design theme. The Z32 just looked sporty...didn't really carry on any charming themes that related to the original Datsun father car.
If talking about the coupe the Z32 is close but I still pick the Z33. If talking about the Roadster then no comparison in my book Z33 all the way. Someone mentioned before the 93-95 RX-7. I would still take my roadster over a RX-7 or a Supra but if it was between coupes on the basis of pure sexiness I would pick the RX-7, then the TT Supra (gotta have the wing) and then the Z32. When I got the ZR I came down to 6 verts from the Boxter, TT, Vette, CLK, and S2000. When all was considered from performance, money, and sexy looks the ZR came out on top. Frankly in my opinion the Mercedes is the sexiest of the bunch.

I see as this thread grows that perceptions of what is "Sexy" needs to be taken into consideration.
Kevin brings a good point as do the rest of the Z33 owners. I like both and want to own a Z32 one day....now define sexy.

They're both very sexy. If you look at a Z32's angles and design, it was very aerodynamic and well engineered for its time. It looks like it was designed to cut through the wind, the Z33 looks like the wind cuts around it. Even though I love my Z33, I have to say I think the Z32 is just as sexy. My girlfriend wasnt into cars before me and when we first started dating she asked me "what car is that? Its really pretty" Turns out she was talking about a Z32. So yes women do find the Z32 sexy as well, but its just rare to find one in good condition.

Depends on if the wind is blowing strong and if you're....

Now this can be a whole new thread too...Sunset350ZR, could be a reference to women (or men)...LOL
Z33...just like everyone else above me said, times are different now. Back when the old barbie and ken commercial was out. the Z32 was IT...now its a new age, taste change. Theres a 'new' sexy.
I will have to agree with jinsei888, the z32 did not have any throwbacks to its heritage other than the vg block from the z31. I own a z33 and I traded my z32 for it. Honestly I think the z32 looks sexier in my opinion, take a look from the back ends of both. the 32 is sleek and svelte, whereas the 33 has some hips and a jennifer lopez ***. The 32 is a runway model, and the 33 is a video girl in your favorite rapper's music video, which isnt a bad thing since I am quite fond of "
video vixens"

I disagree about the Z32 not having any throwbacks to its heritage. That wedge shape is Z31 all the way, just wider and more refined.
+1
Here's my Freudian explanation:
To say one Z is "sexier" than the other is no different than saying one woman is "sexier" than another. From a male perspective, some like "sleek and svelte...runway model" women which I would compare to a Z31. Others like bold and well-toned if not muscular women, which would be a Z32. There are others still who prefer the soft, curvy, voluptuous women which is the Z33. Personally, I prefer the latter, and therefore consider the Z33 "sexier". I've owned a Z32 (and loved her to death; t-tops rule!) but call me a freak, I never got the same rush hand-washing my Z32 as I do when I wash my Z33. It's just something about that curvy rear fender... Anyway, my point is I would bet that most guys like their cars like they like their women. Just a theory.
