Default Possible Replacement for rear Nissan Badge

I'm thinking of going to the dealer and ordering the chrome colored Z emblem that goes on the top of the rear strut tower brace, removing the rear Nissan badge and putting the top part of the Z over the aligning holes. Anyone done this yet, or opinions? I think it will look better. I am also going to remove the 350z lettering on the left rear.

Question

Did you ever do this? And, if so, do you have a picture?

No, I ended up buying another side Z emblem, nipping off all the plastic on the back so it sits flush and mounting that in the place of the Nissan Badge. I think it looks much better. I don't have any pics but I got the idea from someone who posted pics on the detailing forum.

If you don''t mind some questions :

- Did the rear Nissan badge come off easy?
- Are there holes behind it (I think I read there are)
- I guess the other badge covers the holes, right?
- What did you use to place the new badge on there?

Thansk. There is too much "Nissan" on the back...

Thanks. And wow, Gus, that was some time ago!

I have the same concern, too many Zs... I like the one filled in with the color. I might buy a couple from Courtesy and see what they look like on Redline..

Thanks for the info.

Here's another option. These were dealer installed.

It has been a while, it is hard to believe I just passed 7 months with this car, at that time there were no mods to do so I had to amuse myself until they came out.
