so i get in my 2003 z today and i cant get out. my drivers side door opener handle does not seem to work. everything else does, door locks and unlocks fine, door handle on the outside opens door fine, passenger side works fine. anyone have any ideas?

opening from the outside works fine, it's the inside that doesnt work. are they connected some how? is this something i could fix?

 

Remove your door panel, there's a how to on here somewhere. Search for it...pretty easy to find. There is a cable similar to that of a bicycle for the brakes that attaches to the handle inside the door. It may have come loose or broken.

 

Do it. Thats probably the problem, although I don't see how it could come off by itself

 

It is possible for it to work its way out or for the end of it to break.

 

I have the same problem, I got inot my car today and when my passenger went to get out the inside door handle didn't work, everything else works fine. I was like wtf??? Can anyone point me in the direction of this how to? Thanks for the help guys.
