In a respectful way
Let me school you on some valet knowledge:
1) Just because you pulled up to the sign doesnt mean your going to valet for sure. People stop in front of those all day
2)Any valet thats been around a minute has driven way better cars then a entry level perf. car (ie your 350z)...dont assume ur the hot one on the block
3)Money talks....about the hot girl comment. Any valet will tell you..he/she could care less about the person driving the car. A valet..like most working people..does it for the money. Drive up and throw him a $5, $10 or whatever..you might see different results
4)Always tip a valet...complimentary or not...ur handing the keys over to probably your 2nd or maybe 1st most valuable possession...show him you care about it
5)If its such a problem...park your own damn car

1) I see your point about the valet stop sign.
2) I know my car isn't the best there is out there I was simply sharing what went through my mind in that brief instance.
3) That was a joke based on the TV show "So you think you can dance"
4) I always tip anybody who is providing me a service.
5) I have no problem parking my car by myself in fact that's what I do every day.
I and everybody else have spent too much time on this pointless topic and I'm suprised it's reached 2 pages. We should all move on.

Sure valet guys park Ferrari's and Lambo's all the time so they don't think much of a Z. But my Z is my Ferrari/Lambo 
If I owned a Ferrari or Lambo I wouldn't let some punk valet guy park it...but then again if you're rich enough to afford an exotic you probably wouldn't care.

When I read your initial post, I got the feeling like you were just trying to say what a cool car a 350Z was, and tell a little amuzing story, and vent a little.

Not all Valet Parking guys are car buffs either...I'm sure some of them are, but others just treat it like the brainless 9-5 job that it is, and probably just DON'T CARE what car it is....UNLESS it's a true exotic car...then they pop a woody and start humpin' da car!
