Default WTF Valet Guy!?

-- Deleted --

Because there are idiots out there who take things said on this board way too seriously and I'm tired of wasting my time trying to school them.

Just thought I would share my pointless story with yall. If you ever valet your car make sure the valet guy respects your car and treats it like a smoking hot chick
interesting story but not to take the wind out of your sales but 350z's are not ferrari's or m6's.. but who knows, this guy probably would have said, "leave this" to a db9

like you, I don't valet unless there is no other option.. i just know too many valet guys who take cars out for "joy rides".... bastards..

Wow... ok.

Yeah, I love my car and never ever valet it but with all due respect, its a 350Z, not a lambo... Valet guys are used to driving Porshes, Mercedes, BMWs, Ferarris, Lambos, etc. Why would you think a 350Z is a big deal to them?

I thought this was going to be another one of those valet horror stories...

most of the time they will not have any respect for your car whatsoever. I've seen too many careless and even wreckless things happen to owners' cars, with my own eyes, when the owners aren't around. I saw a valet kid try to "drift" someone's brand new mustang into a parking spot. This was early last year when they just came out. my roommate went to this restaurant where they had this mandatory valet. handed them the keys to his G35, and went inside. realized he left something in the car and turned around to go back outside. what he saw was the valet turning his car HARD through the lot, squealing his tires! luckily he had enough patience to just say, "hey! take it easy". I would've been so pissed had that happened to me

He just told you to "leave this here" how is that disrespectful in any way? If he said "leave this crap here" then you have a real reason to be pissed off.

Listen, I love my Z, however, it is just that a Nissan 350z. It is not a Lambo, Ferrari, or Aston Martin. What did you want him to say????

Well the valet in our building is complimentary so there's nothing fancy about the cars. All I'm saying is I'd like a little respect shown towards my car even if it's not a Ferrari, Porsche, or Lambo. He could have at least said "Leave your car here." LOL bmac03z that was funny yeah I guess he could do that but then again I wouldn't want someone humping my car. 20"makavelli that's the who point of the General board to share dumb stories. I'm sure you've got a few.

No valet horror stories for me. I did see a valet scrape up a Jag once but I wasn't around when the owner came back. I'm sure he would have been pissed.

I think your over-reacting. I would hate to see what your reaction would be when someone tells you to "leave it here". What valet would ever say: "Leave your Lamborghini Murcielago here." I don't remember any valet saying the name of the car like he was making some announcement for an entrance.

Seriously, you are over-reacting. I would say the same thing to a guy who complained that the valet said "this" instead of "Porsche Carrera GT".

Seriously, I'm not really pissed about this I was merely recounting what my initial 2 second reaction. The rest of my day was great. No big deal but I still wouldn't valet my car. How was everybody else's day?
