I can't decide what interior color looks best for a white car. Opinions and pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I have the 'frost' interior on my PPW roadster. It's gorgeous, and gives the interior much more visual interest with the contrast to the black center console. All-black is like sitting in a cave. Dull, dull, dull. Boring, boring, boring. Black also accentuates the cheapness of the interior plastics. Furthermore, the blue top gives the car's appearance with the top up much more life than the dull black one.

Black, for sure. I never liked the frost interior. But that is just my opinion, of course. I just feel like the black is more serious and meaner... the frost just feels out of place.

The current Car and Driver has a comparo of five high-end convertible sports cars. The XLR, 650i, and XK that were loaned by the manufacturer all have off-white interiors. The Carrera and 550SL have a medium brown (MB used to call it "tobacco."). None were black. Why? No manufacturer wants to show off their cars in leading magazines looking their worst.

Black for sure.
1. I'll mention the function first. With black, you won't get as much reflection off the front windshield like you would with the frost. If you want an example, look at the way the back struts bar reflect off the back window, it's really annoying.
2. When I think of frost colour interior, I think of my grandparent's car and their friend's cars. Old people for some reason like frost. So to me, frost interior remind me of old people.
3. When I see black, I think of sexy and sleek. And IMHO, the black covers up better how cheap the plastic is.
On an aside: Most magazine tend to use light colour materials for their photoshoot because it shows more of the shadows hence it lets you see every shape and line of the interior when viewing a photo. That is just a technical thing photographers prefer. That doesn't mean you should go out and buy everything light colour so it can look good on a photo. Just because black does not show as much lines in a photo, doesn't mean it doesn't look amazing in person.
