Default Passenger window problem - fuse?

I just received my -06 350z and noticed that the passenger side window rolls down a notch when the door opens but doesn't go back up when the door closes.

I had one extra fuse in the center cupholders and I wonder if they missed one fuse when the car was assembled? Could it be a missing fuse or is it something with the electronics?

a couple of pics of the car for those who are interested:

Welcome to the Forums, flywheel!

If the window goes up and down OK, it wouldn't be a fuse. In your case, the window might have to be "reset". There are several problems with the windows in these cars, and there are a few threads started about them. You'll see them as you become more familiar with our site.

Just take your car back to the dealer and they should fix it for you.

Good luck!

Thank you for the welcome and the quick reply. I'll take it to the dealer.

Mine does the same thing in an 03. It goes down but not back up so if you open and close the door a few times the window rolls all the way down. Nice to see that Nissan is working hard to correct these problems.

Exact same thing was happening to me. Took it to the dealer and they reset the motor limits or something like that free of charge (warranty).

when someday, the dealer runs out of warranty and your window reg is "dead" and beyond resetting ability, this is the way to fix it; not to mention it's fast and straight forward
