Just let him know that you know your ***** is larger and infact pleases women more. Tell him "I can buy a new car, but you cant buy a new *****."

Unless of course he goes the mechanical route.

Z = sexxxxxxxxxxxxyyyy
G = ok looking

Oh yeah, and it doesn't hurt that it's faster and quicker to boot. Sure back seats might be nice every once in a while but quite honestly even if it looked exactly like the Z and was just as fast I certainly wouldn't pay the extra dough for the back seats, and I actually really like the Z's interior despite some criticism it gets, so I'm certainly not going to pay that much extra considering it's also slower and uglier..

For me is was 50/50 before buying either the Z or G35. They are closely related and there are trade offs for owning either. The choice ended for me by finding a Z that had more value for the money than a G35 I could find at the time. Sometimes I'd like the back seat and sunroof, but I also enjoy the extra acceleration and handling. To me the cars are so close it's a wash.

Wasn't the G35 supposed to be the equivalent of what the 300ZX 2+2 was?

I am single. I opted for the Z over the G with absolutely no hesitation. I, quite frankly, don't need the back seat and comfort. I'd rather trade that in for a bit more performance and a true sports car feel.

When I am old and gray (35 yrs old.), married with kids, I will get a G. For now, Z all the way.

People that own G's think they are faster than Z's. These people are nuts. A G weights like 250lbs more. Plus, the G is a wanna-be Z - uses the same engine, same exhaust sound, same parts, etc.

G's are crap, crap, crap. Tell that guy to get a real sports car. Ans also tell him the G is a poor excuse for a Skyline because the real Skyline comes back in 2008.

Remind them that if it wasn't for the Z, they'd be driving a G30 - essentially a Maxima.

Pretentious lil SOB ain't he?? I refuse to keep such people around as friends....they become "associates" or better yet "ignored and avoided"

For me, the main turnoff on the G was the way it looks. I just think it looks weird with that backseat. Then add in the slightly higher price and slightly slower due to weight, and its all Z for me. The G comes with leather -- I didn't even want leather (wicked cold in winter, terribly hot in summer) and a Bose system. But the Z comes with the Bose system too, but I can live without the Bose because the exhaust sounds awesome.

Well, that pretty much sums it up. Your friend can't say a thing now...he's part-ricer. Tell him to get some spinners.

At this point I feel that it's safe to assume that your friend sucks at lyF3 with great intensity...

+1 I was stuck on the G35C, but once I drove the Z i knew what i wanted! I'm more of a perfomance car guy than a luxury car guy.

You're certainly entitled to your own opinion and I've known people that like the G for its more "refined" look, but the vast majority (including myself) tend to prefer the Z by quite a wide margin. Also, every non-enthusiast knows what a Z is, most don't even recognize that the G is a sportscar, the Z stands out on the road and people (again non car enthusiasts) are ALWAYS shocked when they find out it's not $50+k, mostly because of the way it looks.
