Exclamation I'm worried the cupholders won't hold my Wendy's BIG Gulps - Should I be concerned?

Sorry, but now that Jeff15 is gone, I just can't help it.

Dammit...if you're gonna take the late lamented Jeff15's place, you need to title your thread's properly. The title of this thread should have been: CUPHOLDERS ON THE G35 COUPE WILL HOLD A BIG GULP, BUT I DON'T THINK THE Z WILL...SHOULD I BE CONCERNED. I must however give you credit for confusing the 7/11 Big Gulp with the Wendy's Biggie, that was truly a Jeff15 moment.

Flyingscot=Jeff16???

Actually a good question as us American's can't just settle for the 20oz. $0.49 drink when we can get triple the amount for the same price.

I can't help it. They didn't have Big Gulps in the 60's you know.

That's so true even if we have to put the sucker between our legs, or wedge it between the seat and the door. And by the time you drink it all it's like half water because the ice is melted.

Me: "I'll have a large diet coke please"

FastFood Teenager: "For 3 cents more you can have a Huge Supersize Big Gulp Grand Size"

Me: No thanks, I'm not a camel. Besides, it doesn't fit in my Z cup holder.

Fly,

Thanks for the entertainment of the day. I do get a kick out of this when I saw that it's your post. Your reference to Jeff15 just add a few more laughts.

BTW: What's happened to Jeff15? Some how I missed the big event. Now you have to fill his shoes, but in an entertaining way.

Sorry about that Jeff15 model. We had to send our bladerunners out and "recover" him. I'd steer clear of the Jeff16 model too. We currently have 3 of those still out in the wild but they will be recovered shortly. (Flyingscot, a bladerunner will be by for a retinal scan shortly just in case....)

Actually, our more recent models are all denoted with a letter of the alphabet after "Jeff."

For instance I'm the latest model, denoted with a "W."

Well, Touring, old JmanZ zapped him like a big eyed bug. One too many silly treads I guess. I bet he's on to me too so I better watch out.

For a thirst such as mine I choose to carry one of those bladders that the bikers use. Ahhh...108 ozs of caffeinated refreshment.

That way the cupholder is never used so no problem. Of course stopping at every mile marker to use the shrubbery might affect my travel time but it's a fair trade off!!

Thanks Jeff...now with that and an adult diaper I could drive non-stop across country with stops only at full service gas stations.

Well, I heard that 7-11, Nissan, and Chrysler (of all people) were in cahoots on co-marketing a cross-branded add-on for the Z.

In the spirit of the late (and not missed) Prowler, Nissan adopted the "matching trailer" motif from Chrysler and will be coming out with a cute trailer for the Z, complete with matching aero wing.

At the same time, 7-11 will reveal it's greatest creation -- the Mighty Garbage Pail Gulp.

Insert one MGPG into your trailer, and you're good to GO! Now THAT'S what makes American great.
