That's right, darn those rich people who can buy anything they want; they should be relegated to driving Yugo's until they can memorize everything about a car, from it's compression ratio all the way down to where the bolts on it were manufactuered

If it was that u didnt know specs i wouldnt say anything, but comparing cars in a completely different price range and performance level. If u actually wanted a PERFORMANCE car, the price gap between a Z and an SL, u could twin turbo and turn the Z into a rocket car. Obviously u have no clue what ur looking for. If ur rich, get urself an SLR and call it a day.

Oh what a great thread, now i know my car is a big let down and is slower than an M3. Please go to other dealerships (non high-end), test drive thier cars and tell us how much they suck.

I am pretty sure I can speak for most ppl that if their funds were "limitless," the would buy a Z, store it in garage, and drive it once in awhile instead of being on the forum with 1,000 posts. People here buy Z because they have a budget, they love the car. You are neither. Move on, get yourself an Enzo and be satisfied.

I, as well, do not understand your choice of test drives. Are you looking for supercar performance in some fourdoor? Or wait, a Shelby 500hp Mustang and be done with it? Done with what? If you can get that you can get the Z car that destroyed it, everyway but in reverse, in heads up testing! Ok, that "Z" has "06" in its name rather than "350", but no more hp than the Shelby right? Please, the Mustang is a beginners car with a Ranger rear axle. Why blow it up to 500..it'll never do great. My old Toyo would destroy it just as easily..in any type of race!
Anyway...I've decided to get a new Z car...just have to decide on model & options. I've always loved 'em. Well, the original Z's anyway..the ZX's..not so much. I was hyped in 02 for the upcoming retro Z then puked when they left out the I-6, LOL. I finally came around. I test drove a new one friday and I loved it dude!! It had good response and pull for a V6 NA, although a little twitchy at high speed. I used to have a modified 95 MR2 turbo, so I'll get used to that. It doesn't have to be blindingly fast (got that covered) I just need a FUN daily driver and want to give my Silverado the park!

okay, i'm going to bed now; hopefully there will be a bunch more entertaining posts by the time I wake up tomorrow
edit: here's a suggestion - pick on the fact I have top-speed headers on my g35 instead of jet-coated Crawfords, lol.

others:
05 mustang gt 'vert - felt dog slow. I've never driven a new GT so I was expecting a lot, but it just didn't have anything in it. maybe because it was a convertible
0?5? E55 AMG wagon - felt fast, but a lot slower than I was expecting -> again maybe because it was a wagon and all that extra weight?
04 M3 cab - again, felt fast but a let down from what I was expecting (SMG was cool though)
0?5? SL55 AMG - very fast; faster than I thought it would be
Kind of a let down from what I was expecting...........should just get a blown 427 shelby cobra replica and be done with it :word: (or an 03/04 cobra :nervous: )

I'm going to also side with the rest of the forum and advise you to keep your conspicuous consumption to yourself.
