Probably not as embarrasing as it would have been if you went down to DMV raising hell!

Ya, i got tricked once too. I thought they only sent me one plate, but they were so well stuck together that I couldn't tell until I literally starred at it 2 " from my face.

You and I are both in New Jersey...So you know the NJ local cops AND State Troopers will pull you over every time they notice a car with 1 plate (Unless you have a new car with Temp. Tags, that is!).

Kinda weird...I'm in South Jersey just across the bridge from Philly, but some interesting differences between the 2 states:

NJ: 2 plates required, Cheaper Gas , State allows beer & Hard Liquor to be sold together in stores (but NOT grocery stores w/Exception of BJ's Wholesale Club and maybe Costco), State Law makes it really tough to get a license to carry a firearm (almost gotta be a cop).

PA: : 1 plate ONLY, Gas prices consistently higher than NJ due to higher taxes on fuel, Beer purchased separately via distributor and Hard Liquor sold ONLY at State Stores, Very easy to get a license to carry a firearm (All I needed to do was get a township form, get a Dr. to sign off on it, pay $40, wait 2 weeks for a 5 year license).

I drove Vettes and my last Z without front plates and never got pulled over all those years. And I am in NJ as well.
