thats all you need man...just stick it in the back and leave the front plateless..but it is good to have the extra plate in your car incase you get pulled over, then you can at least show them you have it.

Sounds like DMV goofed. You better communicate by phone or letter and get the other. Sooner or later a cop is likely to pull you over and he ain't gonna buy "I only got one plate".

Ditto what Brickyard Rat said. Get on the phone to DMV.
I don't know why the police are so sensitive to the front plate deal, but they are. I mean...they see you from behind 99.9% of the time, right?

Oh well, give the DMV a call.

That's his point, he didn't get the other plate. I really can't see the DMV buying that he only got one either. Tough sell unless he acts quickly.

Default Only 1 Plate?

Are you SURE that you only got one plate? I thought the same thing until I realized that there were two plates tightly pressed together.

Make a color copy of the license plate. Paste it on a piece of cardboard. Put it on the car.

When I bought mine (from dealer, used) it only came with one plate. Didn't care much at the time (not something I really thought of) but now I know it's going to get my pulled over one day.

Just go to your local DMV and explain your story tell them you want new (different plates) and they will issue you them ( 2 new ones) right on the spot.
