Was that not disrespectful to zrausch? 'Cuz there's nothing disrespectful about telling someone to search. Even if it is in big letters.

7.) SEARCH FUNCTION
Please use the search function before posting or asking a question. It is a much more efficient and quicker way of getting your question answered. Another reason is to reduce the amount of duplicate posts and to conserve some server space.

BTW have we ever raced together at Cecil County Dragway, MD? And are you considering autocross at Ripken Stadium, Aberdeen, MD?

No aftermarket part will void your warranty unless Nissan proves it was directly responsible for the problem with your car.
That said, Nismo Type-S products are covered by the factory warranty, where as Type-R products are not. But I do beleive Type-R products do have a standard 1 year warranty against defect, it's just if something happens to it after the 1 year is up then the factory 3/36k car warranty will not cover it, where as the factory 3/36k car warranty would cover a Nismo Type-S product.
Just remember that every dealership is different, so if you mod your car heavily some dealers will try and tell you your warranty is voided without even seeing what caused the problem... They know they have to prove it was your aftermarket part that caused the problem, but if they can convience you otherwise and charge you lots of $$$ to fix it they will... Of course not all dealerships are shady like this and some are pretty cool like Performance Nissan...

You have to take what others post in stride, since the emotional translation is for the most part misinterpreted or mis-posted. Also, make sure to read the complete site policy docs before quoting it next time.

R-tune is for the hard-core enthusiast or weekend racer. Street “civility” is compromised for maximum performance. These parts that are destined for racing or track days do not carry a warranty.
