The Z is a good car, none the less, but a classic? dont think so.

That one is critical for the classic car, but look at JDM Sylvias, for instance. There are a lot of them, and are great cars. Even classic.
I agree with that the quantity will determine value but not whether or not its considered classic there a pretty of old common cars that are cheap now but are still considered classics.
I don't ever want to sell mine. When I'm finished paying it off, the warranty will be over, and then I can really start working on it. Daily driven, track ready, dual purpose car, forever and always.
Plan is to drive it everyday until 2010 at which point she becomes my sunday car and I pick up a used, or if money stable enough a new m35 and slowly start modding the Z. If I can I want to have it forever, this things gunna be a classic in no time.

I'm hoping all the major problems on my ride are over with now . . .
So I can relax and "enjoy the ride"

your saying that the z won't be a classic because it is produced in large numbers. wow I have a buddy who owns a 66 mustang, guess I better tell him it's not a classic anymore because you said so huh
The fewer there are the better. All types of things go into whether it will be a classic and car loyalty seems to be a part of it as well. The mythological hemis and Supersports of various makes and models. The cult following seems to go a long way to making classics. If that is so the the various Zs should be well on their way. I have a sunset roadster which around here there are not many, but in other parts of the country their seem to be plenty. Regardless of classic or not this will hopefully be with me for now on. Besides once you get attached to a car, especially if nothing is wrong with it, its hard to get rid of it for the little money they want to pay evev fow well kept low mileage cars.
