on the 30min DIY garage change. Closest NSC is 20-30 min drive for me. Plus I use Royal Purple. Don't think they are going to give me RP for free.

Hhhmm.....that would be sweet. In my area, PA, they stopped giving a lot of the military discounts, because they said tobyhanna is no longer an active base. I went to finish line, cuz i know they give a discount there, then i was told that. It would be nice to see that deal on their website. Robert K, do you have any mods done to your Z when you got that 249whp or was that stock? Sorry to be OT.

I don't think they'd do this in Hampton Roads. They'd probably lose a lot of money doing so since it's a large, militarily concentrated area.

Well, I just hope that you get the service that you earn. Also, as far as what type of oil they use who cares. I used every kind of oil in my last 9 cars and never have seen a performance difference in either one of them. I am not saying that one is not better than the other, but come on; a free oil change is a good oil change in my opinion.

I have used Royal Purple in my Slammed with Heads and Cam C5 and to this day have not experienced or benefits with Royal Purple (Don’t believe the hype). If it was as good as they claim, I believe they would be flying off the shelf in an alarming rate.

To me; oil is oil, keep it clean and changed and you will have no problem. The Nissan dealership I go to uses Quaker state synthetic, but I'd prefer Mobile 1 instead. If I decided to bring my own oil in, then what’s the point of getting a free oil change?

I will keep my “hater blockers” on when reading this thread in the future!

R,

Free

My dealer in Olathe, KS. (suburb of Kansas City) gave me lifetime free oil changes. They want be to bring it in every 3000 miles not only for the oil change but so they can also try to sell me on more stuff, I'm sure.
They use Mobil oil on mine, but not synthetic.
