Yeah!! Just got the call from my dealer.
Got the call from my dealer with the following information.
They had 13 cars in their first allotment, 6 have R #'s (not mine), 5 have S #'s (mine is S259415) and 2 have T #'s. In addition, she confirmed the build month for R is June, S is July and T is Aug.
My expected delivery is Sept 2.
Seriously happy guy here
Get on the phone with your "inventory managers" and help them get you your VIN number.

The inventory manager I am referring to is the person who works at the dealership and keeps all the records for the cars on the lot and what is on the lot. The regional rep knew that the cars were on their way but not about mine specifically.

Not to burst your bubble, but I don't believe that your dealer can give you an exact day in September when your car will be arriving. I believe that Sept. 2 may have been mistaken for Sept. 2002. Check it out...

[/QUOTE]Hm...interesting....I was thinking that was the VIN for two reasons. First, the dealer told me it was....ok ok...maybe a bad reason. But second.....my last 3 nissan cars follow the same format of "letter followed by six numbers"...I realize their are alot of numbers in front of these 7 digits, but these last seven identify my car ... meaning model, options, etc.

And regarding the Sept 2....the inv manager said "only believe the date to mean our first shipment in the month of Sept....not the actual day of Sept 2.
