If ur gonna trade ur Z in for another one just wait for the 07, the 07 should without a doubt be faster than the 03-06.

Yeah but what are his chances to get a best deal on an 07. Not to mention the 07 will have a new engine and could be with lots of new bugg. So since you are running from problems, you'll start a new journey with the new engine and it's problems. Settle for 06 because I'm sure the additonal HP gain is not that hard to achieve with a nice set of exhuast and the intake. Also you'll get a killer deale andddddddddddddddddddd a car that's bugged free. Almost a full year into it's productions and it should be as good as golden.

you always just not do the recalls and live w/ it. I havn't had anything done to mine and am perfectly happy with it now - i'm not letting them tak eapart 1/2 the car just because they think it could catch on fire.

yeah it is annoying having to keep goin bak to dealer and they'll give u a hard time... love to fix things myselft... but don't have time and tools... but i jes realize i'm gonna lose tooo much money if i do the trade... might as well spend that money to increase the cars full potential... even though its an 03.. its stil a Z... and engine still has a great potential... i jes hope the lil annoyng problems won't get to me...

Man thats what I thought, but I have a few of the problems on my 06 that are found in some of the 03's. Its mainly clutch/tranny,axle clicking, window grease, whining rear end...thats about it..... thank god for no tire feathering though!!!

"...just because they think it could catch on fire."

Yeah, what a silly reason to issue a TSB!

Geez, man, I could not get mine to the dealer fast enough.

That's your perogative.

I'd rather burn in a fiery wreck than let the stealership touch my car ever again.

Yeah I had the fuel hose recall thing too, I had to drive around a freaking geo metro for two days while they did it (definitely made me appreciate 287 horses divided amongst 6 shift gates though haha).

But hahah, being a human fireball with skin melting off your body vs. a dealership.. and you give the nod to melting skin. Bad experience I take it?

Oh and btw, +1 for waiting for the 2007. But for me, I just like having the absolute newest thing (not always a good thing).

Of course - I will never ever trust a stealership again, after getting my car back from servicing and finding my passanger side mirror missing and a huge splash of red paint on my door

I consider my 03 350z reliable and a very problem free car if you compare it american cars. Its not perfect, but it certainly is not as bad as people make it out to be.

you should plan on keeping a car that you bought new for 10+ years if you want to reduce the amount of money you lose from depreciation.
