155 according to the electronic speedometer on I-495 at 6 in the morning giving a porsche an idea of how fast a Z can go! If it wasn't for the crappy roads though... maybe a little bit more!
BUT the fastest that I've ever driven is in autobahn going to Nurburgring with a Porsche 911 turbo... 189 mph or 304 km! Now that pure adrenaline rush!!!!!

On the fwy fastest I have gone was 90. Not stupid like some of you here.

Amen brother! You guys running over 90 mph for anything but a few seconds are endangering everyone around you. It is one thing to run the Z through the gears while on a long entrance ramp to an interstate and entirely different to be running at 90 + mile after mile in traffic.

meh fast is fun 155 tops for me on I5 heading to redding, wont do it again though, reason being when i was coming down from that speed next thing i see is a highway patrol car coming super fast behind me, thought i was going to jail , but some how he only clocked my at 101+ . the ticket came and i forked over 785 big ones. learned a lesson, now keep it on the track!

Some of us just don't have the room to go faster. Some A**hole cut me off at 136mph , so I had to stop.

It isn't my fastest I have personally piloted but it was still moving for a Geo Metro...lol J/k that was in my G35.

My fastest was on my 2001 GSXR1000 with the speed hitting 194mph. All motor logged on my Garmin GPSV (stock speedo only shows up to 187mph). However, the bike was far from stock.

Doesn't surprise me Brian.....

Anyone that doesn't believe bdmpastx, I can vouch for him...he's a certified speed racer...lol or a crazy guy...one or the other!

Dunno if you could take a picture of the Z like that...you got your hands full when you're driving!

What was the nearest town on 5? I'm going south this weekend, so it might help to know.
