not, sure was topping out in 5th gear racing my friends EVO (a stock one, and we were tied up until top of 4th where i pulled...on a roll of course)
Anyways, nearing redline in 5th... didnt get a chance to hit 6th, but while i was slowing down, got a chance to look down and i was at 148mph... so im sure i was near 150+... but since we are posting confirms only... i guess 148mph. Hwy 6 (1960) south deep in sugarland area.

So I know EXACTLY how your friend felt....When you're in the passenger seat, it feels like the Z is going crazy fast...I have NO idea why.

Where did you hit 149mph? Between NB & San Marcos, right by the Texas Ski Ranch?

Anyways...I been only in 120ish range a few times.
There's really no need to go faster than that. Last thing I need is a ticket for reckless driving...not to mention putting myself and others in danger.

Doing 120 on a public road is something a stupid teenager would do.

My Z hits the limiter at 159mph on the speedos. I've pegged it a handful of times and I know without a doubt that it's electronically limited... It stays pegged to 159 no matter what.... you can even hear/feel the ECU cut fuel if you go down a grade. I have the stock aero kit and the car is rock solid, no doubt about it.

btw, 2+ years no tickets.

no lie, 145. i dont think the car couldnt go any faster, and it was loud as fck with the windows open. hurt my ears... scary stuff.

this was back in december. now i think the fastest i've gone after that is like 95... maybe 100. but i'm extremely cautious and wouldnt go faster than that again.

159 the cars speed limiter before my TS reflash. The car sailed as smooth as a kite. This was done at California Speedway. On the fwy fastest I have gone was 90. Not stupid like some of you here.

152mph Cali. I-5 south, north of the Grapevine, long, straight and freshly paved with zero traffic. Wanted to push to the ECU limit but got nervous that if my radar detector went off at that point it would only be telling me "You're going to jail tonight!". No way I'd be able to pull back down to 70 in time. BTW the car felt completely planted, not sketchy at all.

135 on I-70 in MD when I had my Roadster. This was with the top down and a 325lb passenger crammed into the car. I got PASSED by a dude on a crotch rocket like I was sitting still! I've only had my G35 up to about 115.
