comin home from a bar...get on the highway and i see 8 sport bikes flyin, so i punch it - i pass them and i hit 140mph and they catch right up to me, its just me & like 8 bikers just flyin down the highway goin 140...nice little adrenalin rush - but ill never do that again cuz its just too risky

 

same story as above going down a very open area of Hwy 37 heading to Bradenton Raceway. Like 6-8 bikes see me drive bye with my friends supra in tow. they pull out and catch up to us, my friends supra had ET streets he could only do like 100mph so I take off and my Z hit 162mph then fuel was cut and it would not go past 159mph. the car was rock solid, but i would not do it again . . .. i dont think.

For all of you complaining about endangering other people you don't know what the conditions were like when they were doing these speeds(3a.m. no cars on road, ect.) And for all of you that don't want to go over a hundred, DON'T BUY A Z!!! Go buy a minivan!!! 135 here and still going. The gov stops at 159 on the 06 but all that can be changed with an easy reflash. Then no gov and have fun. If you can afford a Z then you can afford a radar detector to lower your chances of trouble. Everyone else have fun and enjoy going fast with your Z since that's what it's made for. BUT BE SAFE!

I have an 06 and i hit 164mph on I-10 going towards Katy, Texas racing my friend with an IS350 which we found out his speed governor is set at 155 cuz i started pulling away and noticed my digital speed gauge showing 164. He called me on the cell after we had slowed down to inform me that Lexus sucks and it wouldnt let him go past 155. lol. I should have tried and see how much more i could go but oh well, i really should not have raced him in the first place cuz i have nothing to prove. But then again if i let him win, i wouldnt hear the end of it.
