Here the text from the article:
"The vehicles with the lowest depreciation rates include:
· Minivans -- Honda Odyssey, Mazda 5
· Coupe -- Infiniti G35
· Sports cars -- Nissan 350Z
· Family sedan -- Honda Accord
· Mid-sized sedans -- Toyota Prius
Five of the vehicles with the highest depreciation rates include:
· Large sedans -- Ford Crown Victoria
· Minivans -- Buick Terraza
· Mid-sized sedan -- Pontiac Grand Prix

Nothing like making a good buy. =)

On Edmund's.Com, the Z was in the 49th of 50 most researched cars (amoung all cars), so there's obviously a direct correlation of the demand/interest for the Z, hence it's indirect implication to a lower depreciation rate

Man, take a look at Volkswagons ill planned Phaeton. A staggering well made car that looks like their very much lower priced Passat. For the price of the Phaeton, you can have an Audi A8, any number of MB and BMW's. You can pick up a lightly used, one year old, $70,000 Pheaton for around $32,000! This may be the buy of the decade if you need a high performance, luxuarious sedan... Act quickly, as of September, the will not import this car to the US.
I have a feeling the trade-in value on the Z is going to plummet when the GTR comes out. The dealer lots are going to have alot of Z trade-ins. I plan on selling my Z right before the GTR comes out, before the value drops.

Yeah, there is an estimated $30-$40,000 difference between the cost of the Z and the GTR and there will not be that many GTR's in this country. It would be foolish for Nissan to ruin the Z like that....I think one thing people forget is that the GTR is going to be in the "Viper Like" class, not every Tom, Dick and Harry will be able to go get one.....
