Is there a fix to tire feathering?
I have an 04 track. I bought the car used with 5000 on a second set of protenza's he told me complimentary switched in by dealership. But of course no more than 14,000 miles on those tires I start hearing the noise and the dealership tells me its definitelly feathering.
Is there any Fix for fire feathering other than changing the tires or this dumb suggestion I heard by the dealer to switch the tires around in the front?

The main thing is adjusting the toe. When I had mine replaced the guy also said the new potenzas were a different tread design that is supposed to help, but who knows if that's true or not. I got free tires up front that's all I care about.
I waited until I started losing traction in the front before I had them address it. I figured I would get as much use out of them as possible. The noise was very loud and just the inside of the tire was worn smooth. 70% of the tire still had a ton of tread. I just took it in and said "my tires have been making a god aweful roaring noise for some time now, and I think the tread is wearing weird too".
They came back shortly and said... 2 free tires coming up!
Anyway, I've got 10k on the new ones with absolutely no issues thus far. No roaring and no excessive inner tread wear.
