Tonight I just finished the install of the new AFC Neo in the Z. I know there is much criticism of the AFCs on many of the Z forums, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I wanted it because I had nothing to put in the Navi spot, it was a cheap alternative to the utec and besides if it doesn't work out, I could always sell it to a ricer on Ebay. Here are some pics.

The first time I started the car up with it, the car hesitated and there was a rich smell. Is this bad? And does anyone have the initial parameters for the setup? (Ex: sensor numbers, pressure numbers, decel air etc...)

 

i thought you can just turn it on safe mode... i setup my friend with his vafc2 and you can play with it a little, but i dont think you should mess with it, just set it to 6 cylinders for now... and get it tuned

how did you install it? the new AFC nea did not have a application for a Z33 yet...they only have APPLICATION for a Z32? I wanted that in my car too but it didnt have a application. teach me how you did it..
