While checking out the new Muranos I noticed that the new Z's at all my local dealerships have a factory installed clear film on the front bumper and just in front of the rear wheel well. I was told this was to protect from chipped paint. When did Nissan start doing this? I think the sales guy was right (for once) because none of the 3 dealers in my area said they put it on, and they also had no markup for it.

 

I have hte one in the rear, BUT not the front bumper, I don't think that sounds right.
